If you're reading this, you've found your way to our brand-new home on the web — and we couldn't be more excited to have you here.
Over the past several months, a (very) small team of volunteers has been hard at work rebuilding monarchbands.org from the ground up. We outlined a lot of the what's new details in our previous post, so we won't repeat all of that — but as a quick refresher, here's what to expect:
A reorganized and simplified site navigation, that puts public-facing information forward.
A Members Area where you can log in to see news, events, volunteer opportunities, order history, photos, and band-only posts
Volunteering is now more simple than ever!
An updated Calendar you can subscribe to from your phone or computer, so band events show up right alongside your family's schedule
Patience Please
We've put a ton of effort into making this as smooth as possible. But here's the honest truth: this is a brand-new system, and it hasn't been tested at scale yet. It's also still a work-in-progress. So we're asking for two things from you: a little patience, and your assistance.

How You Can Help
If something feels off, confusing, or just plain broken — please tell us. During this launch period, please email webmaster@monarchbands.org any time you run into any of the following:
A problem. Something not working the way you expected?
Inaccurate information. Did you spot something outdated or just plain wrong?
Store/order issues. Trouble placing or finding an order in our store?
Trouble finding something. If you're hunting around and can't find what you need, that's useful for us to know — it probably means we need to make it easier to find.
Mobile hiccups. Despite our best efforts, a few things just don't behave perfectly on mobile yet. Apologies in advance, and thank you for flagging them.
Sign-up or login trouble. How did the Membership sign-up or sign-in process go for you? Did you get stuck anywhere, or have trouble resetting a password?
Calendar subscription issues. If you tried subscribing to our event calendar on your phone, Google Calendar, or Outlook, did it work the way you expected?
Volunteer sign-up confusion. Could you find and sign up for a volunteer shift or position without trouble? If you saw something that looked like a duplicate listing, let us know — we're still smoothing out how these are displayed.
Unexpected emails (or missing ones). Are you getting confirmation or reminder emails you expect? Or notifications you didn't expect (or didn't want)?
Anything that just felt confusing. Even if it technically worked, if it took you longer than it should have to figure something out, that's worth telling us.
Something you appreciate! If there's something you genuinely like, we'd love to hear that too — it helps us know what to keep doing.
A couple of small notes: Please explain the process you went through before you had the problem. Also, please mention what device and browser you were using (iPhone + Safari, Windows + Chrome, etc.), that helps us track down issues much faster.
Our Ask
Building something like this for an all-volunteer organization is a labor of love, but it's also genuinely hard to get right on the first try. Your patience while we work out the inevitable rough edges — and your willingness to tell us about them instead of just quietly working around them — is what will make this site something that actually makes life easier for our band families, rather than one more thing to wrestle with.
