Monarch High School Bands

It is time for the 7th Annual Monarch Winter Guard Invitational by the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association!

We want to help our competitors have a great event by ensuring their time waiting to go on and coming off the performance floor is as pleasant and straightforward as possible.

These positions help during the entire season. Please sign up for as many spots as you can to help knowing that we are asking for a minimum of 4-6 hours per family. If you have any questions, just ask. The season-long positions are very manageable and do not require excessive amounts of time.

We are in the home stretch towards regionals and state.  Now is your chance to volunteer.  We need as much support as possible throughout the day at the Big Cat Festival. The event is at the 

North Area Athletic Complex ​(NAAC Stadium) located at 64th Ave. and Highway 93.

Placeholder - MONARCH IS NOT ATTENDING QUARTERFINALS IN 2023  The annual state marching band festival takes places at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and we need volunteers to support our musicians at this exciting culminating event. Quarterfinals happen on Friday, the day before the semifinal and final performances.

This year, we will be having the Italian Dinner which did not take place during the evening of the State Competition.  Please sign up and help bring dishes to complement the meal!

Congratulations to the whole marching band on a great season!

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, when our devoted band students knock on doors and ask for donations! To keep our students safe, we need parent volunteer drivers to drive groups of students around to their target neighborhoods.

Each year, Monarch hosts an exciting marching band festival at our home field at Spangenberg Stadium (located at Centaurus HS). We ask all marching band parents to take at least one volunteer shift for this important fundraising event.

The annual state marching band festival takes places at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and we need volunteers to support our musicians at this exciting culminating event!  Semi-finals will be in the morning, with final performances later in the day.

The first festival of the year is at Adams 12 Five Star Stadium in Thornton. It's an all-day event, with a preliminary and a final.

Monarch and Centaurus bands have a unique bond through our shared stadium, and we're able to help each other host events. Monarch volunteers are asked to help at this event, and Centaurus parents return the favor helping at our festival!
