Volunteer Opportunities
The success of our band program depends on our amazing volunteers.
Welcome Current and New Volunteers!
We need help with everything, such as building props, washing uniforms (at home), and pushing instruments onto the field for competitions.
Year-Long - We have positions which require a school-year long commitment from April until May of the following year.
Seasonal - These positions require commitment for the season. Some parents end up volunteering for the same position for both seasons, effectively making it a year-long commitment.
Event - We have specific events that require a handful of volunteers to successfully pull off. You are only committing to a single day, or in some cases just several hours of time.
NOTE: Volunteers that have direct interaction with students must complete the BVSD Volunteer Application once a year. For more information, including how to get fingerprinted, please refer to the district's website.
