Gear Store Updates/Parent Show Shirt Orders

Hello Monarch Band Students and Families,

We have some updates regarding the Monarch Gear Store as well as the separate parent show shirt order we offered earlier this month.

First I want to thank you for your patience with us on the Monarch Gear Store. We know there are many frustrations with this store and we feel them with you. We took things in a new direction this year, in efforts to offer a wider variety of merchandise. In that process, we discovered many issues that were not disclosed to us until we launched the gear store. We learned a lot from this process and are working to find a better provider for this store for the future that meets our vision.

No volunteer that worked on this is at fault - it is only the company that we chose to work with. We kindly ask for some grace as we await the arrival of the gear orders. Please join me in giving A HUGE SHOUTOUT to Roey and Miri for their immense work on this store and for their support of our program!

Gear Store Items Update

If you ordered gear in the first window, that is expected to ship this week. We still do not have an exact date from the company, but I assure you we will alert you when it is on the way.

If you ordered gear in the second order window, that went into production on September 24th, and we were told that they would be “about a 10 day turnaround”. We will again alert you when the second round of orders arrives.

Parent Show Shirt Order Pickup

If you ordered a show shirt through the Monarch Band separate order form that we put out on September 8th, those shirts will be available for you to pick up and pay for THIS THURSDAY at Marching Band rehearsal from 8:45–9:15 pm. 

A reminder that these shirts will be $25 each. Please bring the exact payment in cash or check in a sealed envelope with your name on it for the amount of shirts you ordered. Checks should be made out to the Monarch Band Boosters.
