10/10 - Monarch Fest


Tag-Day

Tag Day and Virtual Tag Day were an overwhelming success, but we still have more to accomplish. With over $33,000 raised on Tag Day, we have now raised over $40,000 in total, which represents a 17%+ increase over 2022's high!


Special shout out to Shannon Scholtes who took on the Tag Day Coordinator role and did an amazing job in a short time frame! Also, thank you to all the volunteers: drivers, the lunch crew and money counters - this is a strong effort only made possible by the entire Monarch Band Family.


Please encourage your kids to continue raising funds via Virtual Tag-Day (continues through mid September) so we can hit our goal of $50,000.

Volunteering is the lifeblood of our kids' success in band. Please jump in anytime you are able to help out. Upcoming volunteer needs:


Monarch Fest

As The Countdown Begins, Preparations Are Underway!


The Monarch Band Boosters will be hosting our 10th annual Monarch Marching Festival on October 10, 2026. We will welcome 18 outstanding bands from across the region for an exciting day of music, competition, camaraderie, and school pride.


Hosting a successful festival is one of our band's largest fundraising and community events of the year. It provides an incredible experience for visiting bands, while directly supporting our music program. Over the coming weeks, we'll share festival updates, volunteer opportunities, and ways every family can help make this event a success.


Save the date on your personal calendars now. Plan to volunteer for at least one shift. Every family plays an important role in making this festival a success. In two weeks, we'll open our volunteer sign up and share opportunities to get involved.
