About the event
Call time is 8:30am right out front of Louisville Middle School (this means in full uniform with your instrument at LMS when the clock hits 8:30am).
Kids can get dropped off at the parking lot of Louisville Middle School. Vehicles can loop through the parking lot, drop off participants, and then go north to get back on S Boulder Road.
Alternatively, vehicles can turn on Garfield from S Boulder Road and drop off participants around the intersection of E Lafayette and Grant. Grant will be the only street where we allow vehicles to cross E Lafayette south bound after drop off. Vehicles will NOT be allowed to cross E Lafayette north bound.
Parking is limited but can be found in nearby neighborhoods. I HIGHLY recommended that you carpool or arrange to get dropped off instead.
The Parade kicks off at 10am and our time on the route should end around 11am with refreshments at Crystal Springs Brewing. Students will then need to make their way back to their vehicles/rides.
DRESS CODE:
Students will be in full uniform - PLEASE SHOW UP FULLY DRESSED IN UNIFORM. There are no storage areas.
BE SURE TO GRAB YOUR FULL UNIFORM ON FRIDAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE (CHECK FOR EVERYTHING: BIBS, JACKET, GAUNTLETS, GLOVES, SHAKO, SHOES).
After the parade, ensure your uniform gets put back on your hangers correctly.
PARADE TUNE:
TBD FROM MEMORY. Please be sure to memorize your part by the Wednesday Rehearsal before the parade. Thanks everyone - let's have a great day providing some entertainment for the community!

Volunteers are the Key Ingredient for Success
The Monarch Marching Festival requires hundreds of volunteer hours to operate successfully. From welcoming visiting bands to staffing concessions, assisting with parking & ticket sales, providing Band Director support, every volunteer contributes to creating a memorable experience for thousands of guests. The volunteer signup will be shared soon!
Until then, head over to the Monarch Marching Festival website for more information. Review the Festival Volunteer Job Descriptions and think about where you'd like to help!
