About the event
MONARCH BAND PERFORMS AT HALFTIME!
Band - Make sure you have your instrument and uniform!
Schedule:
6:30pm - Students arrive at game by 6:30 (Centaurus HS).
7:00 - Game Starts
7:30-8:00 ESTIMATED halftime performance, full uniform. (No way to gauge exact time of halftime performance, it will depend on the game).
What to Expect
Pep tunes in the stands for 1st quarter and some of 2nd quarter.
We will aim to perform 1st and 2nd movement after the poms perform.
Students will have 3rd quarter off, but must be back by the beginning of 4th quarter. No one is allowed to leave the stadium for 3rd quarter.
Band will play during 4th quarter.
Students/families need to provide their own transportation/food. Do not plan to pick them up until the game ends.
The students need to stay for the entire game unless Mr. Vandermeer says otherwise.
Current Volunteer Needs
Volunteering is the lifeblood of our kids' success in band. Please jump in anytime you are able to help out. Upcoming volunteer needs:
Monarch Fest
The Monarch Marching Festival volunteer signup is open!
Our festival can only happen if every family helps. We ask each band family to volunteer for at least one shift during the festival. Thank you for supporting our students! With everyone contributing, together we create an exceptional event.
Sign up here! There are many opportunities and stations that need your help, including: Ticket Sales, Concessions, Band Hosts, Festival Grounds, Volunteer headquarters, Parking, Press Box, Crowd Management, Last-Minute Helpers, Set-up, and Clean-up. There are also opportunities to help before and after the festival. No prior experience is needed for any role - we will provide guidance and train you!
Stations fill up fast, so please choose your preferred assignment as soon as possible. Volunteers are provided free entry into the festival and all volunteers can watch Monarch perform, with the exception of a small crew at Concessions.
Visit the Monarch Marching Festival website for up-to-date information.
