About the event
Volunteers are still needed to support the band's performance at this event! We still have 10 spots to fill to help make this a successful event for our kids!
Monarch Marching Festival - Band Itinerary/Plan
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th
4:00pm - Truck Load @Monarch High School (ALL PERCUSSION)
5:00pm - Estimated Truck Load End Time
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th - SHOW DAY!
9:00am - Call Time @Centaurus HS Stadium/Perc Unload Trucks
STUDENTS MUST GET THEIR OWN RIDE TO AND FROM MORNING REHEARSAL AT CENTAURUS
9:30am - Stretch/Visual & Music Warm Up
10:30am - Full Ensemble Rehearsal @Centaurus HS Stadium
1:00pm - Dismissed from Rehearsal - Lunch is NOT provided
DURING THIS TIME STUDENTS ARE ON THEIR OWN UNTIL CALL TIME AT MONARCH HIGH SCHOOL! IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE A PLAN TO PICK UP YOUR STUDENT AT 1:00PM.
DINNER IS NOT PROVIDED - EAT YOUR OWN DINNER BEFORE HEADING TO MONARCH!
Snacks will be provided before the show and cup-noodles will be provided after the show
4:45pm - CALL TIME @MONARCH HS
4:45pm - Grab gear and prepare to load buses (get into half uniform)
5:15pm - Departure from Monarch
5:45pm - Estimated Arrival @Centaurus
6:30pm - Body Warm Up
6:55pm - Percussion Warm Up
7:05pm - Music Warm Up
7:45pm - ALL ON DECK
8:00pm - PERFORM SIMPLE GIFTS AT OUR HOME SHOW!!!!
8:15pm - Awards/Percussion Begin Truck Load
8:45pm - Cup Noodles (provided)
9:00pm - Load up and Leave!
9:15pm - Estimated Return Time @Monarch HS

Volunteering is the lifeblood of our kids' success in band. Please jump in anytime you are able to help out. Upcoming volunteer needs:

Monarch Marching Festival - Festival Week Is Here!
Our planning team has spent months preparing for this event, and WE ARE EXCITED!!! Because of our incredible band community, we are ready to welcome hundreds of student musicians and their families for an amazing day of performances. We truly appreciate your willingness and ability to help. If you still haven't signed up, please do so now! Volunteer Sign Up
Volunteer reminders:
- Watch for a confirmation email, arrival times, and instructions
- Review your assigned volunteer position
- Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes, bring water, bring a comfortable chair (most positions)
- Leave time to park and walk to the festival grounds (there is no volunteer or spectator parking at Centaurus)
- Check in at the Volunteer Table when you arrive (to the right of the stadium entrance)
- Don't hesitate to ask your Captain if you have questions

North Regional Competition
About the event
Volunteers are still needed to support the band's performance at this event! We still have 38 spots to fill to help make this a successful event for our kids! We would love to be able to set up our home base and serve kids two meals on site again!
Band Details:
YES - IT IS FALL BREAK, AND YES - WE NEED EVERYONE THERE! THIS DETERMINES OUR SEEDING GOING INTO STATE.
STUDENTS MUST GET THEIR OWN RIDE TO MORNING REHEARSAL AT CENTAURUS - THERE WILL BE NO BUSES ON THIS DAY. STUDENTS WILL STAY AT CENTAURUS HS STADIUM THE ENTIRE TIME. STUDENTS WILL NEED TO GET PICKED UP AFTER AWARDS FROM CENTAURUS HS STADIUM.
BRING YOUR UNIFORM WITH YOU! WE WILL HAVE STORAGE & STAGING SPACE INSIDE CENTAURUS HS .
IF YOU INTEND TO DRIVE YOURSELF TO CENTAURUS, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARK IN ONE OF THE APPROVED OFF-SITE LOTS (THIS WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO YOU IN ADVANCE)
9:30am - Call Time @Centaurus HS Stadium/Perc Unload Trucks
10:00am - Stretch/Visual & Music Warm Up
10:45am - Full Ensemble Rehearsal @Centaurus HS Stadium
1:00pm - Rehearsal Ends, Stage equipment by the band trailers
1:30pm - Lunch (PROVIDED)
2:15pm - Full Ensemble Meeting/Prepare for the show
3:00pm - Seated in stands as a unit watching shows
4:05pm - After Berthoud get into full uniform & Prepare for Warm Up
4:55pm - Body Warm Up
5:20pm - Percussion Warm Up (depart for on deck at 5:50pm)
5:30pm - Music Warm Up
6:05pm - All on Deck
6:15pm - PERFORM SIMPLE GIFTS!!!
6:45pm - Debrief/Dinner (PROVIDED)/Load Trailers
7:30pm - Watch the rest of the show as a unit!
9:00pm - Awards (Drum Majors get into uniform by 8:30pm and report to gate
9:30pm - Estimated Full Ensemble Dismissal - PERCUSSION RETURN TO MONARCH FOR UNLOAD
9:35pm - Estimated pickup time from Centaurus HS stadium
9:45pm - TRUCK UNLOAD AT MONARCH (ALL PERCUSSION)
