Lakewood Marching Festival Itinerary/Plan

9:15am - Call Time @Monarch

9:30am - Warmup/Rehearsal

10:30am - Pack/Eat/Load/Prepare for departure 

12:00pm - Depart for North Area Athletic Complex

1:00pm - Arrival on site

1:50pm - Body Warm Up

2:15pm - Percussion Warm Up

2:30pm - Music Warm Up

3:05pm - All on Deck

3:15pm - PERFORM SIMPLE GIFTS 

3:40pm - Debrief/De-Uniform/Prepare for Prelims Awards

4:15pm - Awards

THE REST OF THE EVENING IS DEPENDANT ON IF WE MAKE FINALS. We will stay to watch bands even if we don’t make it

Estimated Sample Itinerary:

5:00pm - Eat

5:45pm - Watch bands and/or prepare for warm up

?:??pm - Perform in Finals if we make it - TBA

9:00pm - Awards

9:15pm - Load Truck & Buses

10:00pm - Estimated departure 

10:45pm - Estimated arrival at Monarch High School (percussion unload trailer)

Volunteering is the lifeblood of our kids' success in band. Please jump in anytime you are able to help out. Upcoming volunteer needs:

Monarch Marching Festival - Final Volunteer Push

We Still Need Your Help! Volunteer spots are filling up, but we're not there yet. Several key areas are in need of volunteers - Parking, Field Exit Monitor, Rope Controllers, and Water Station Monitors. These are roles we cannot run the festival without. The Colorado Bandmaster Association (CBA) requires us to have volunteers at these stations.

If families who have not yet signed up can volunteer for just one shift, we'll have the coverage we need. Please take a moment today to review the remaining opportunities. Waiting until the last minute limits our ability to provide the best experience for our guests.
