Marching
Band
The Monarch High School Marching Band, currently in the 4A division, is the most visible ensemble at the school. The last five years at the CBA State Championships Monarch has placed in the top 6 (with 4th place finishes in 2017, 2019, and 2022). Monarch Marching Band has been a state finalist band for the last 10 years. Students in marching band will do a number of events including competitions, parades, football games, and community performances. Every 3-4 years the band takes a big trip out of state. Students who wish to participate in the marching band must be enrolled in one of the concert ensembles at Monarch. If you have any questions, please contact the Director of Bands, Chuck Stephen.
