So... what's new?

A Members Area Just for You 🔐

This is the big one. Every parent and student will get an email invitation on July 1st to create a free Members account on the new site. Once you're logged in, you'll have access to:

• The Band Blog — important updates that are posted privately, all in one place.  No more losing important details in texts.

• My Events — RSVPs and tickets, all in one spot (finally, an answer to "wait, where's my ticket?")

• Groups — Connect with others to coordinate on volunteer and fundraising events, in one place.

• Volunteering — Using our event system you can now easily volunteer to help at any event, anytime, right on our website.

• My Orders — your peaches, donations, events, and gear store purchases, tracked in one place

• Photos — relive the season and catch up on anything you missed, anytime

• Volunteer Connections — see who else is helping out so it's easier to coordinate

 

One Calendar to Rule Them All 📅

Goodbye, Google Calendar. All practices, concerts, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities will now live directly on the website, updated in real time, with more detail. Want it on your phone? You'll be able to subscribe to exactly the calendar you need: Parents, Students, Alumni, or the whole shebang. Subscribe once, see it everywhere.

Concerts, Leveled Up 🎫

Every concert now has a real home. Free shows, RSVP events, ticketed events hosted at other venues, and ticketed concerts at Monarch are all handled right on the site. All of your event and ticketing in one place.

 

Volunteering, Made Official 🙌

We're formalizing how volunteer opportunities get posted and filled. Our open Yearly and Seasonal positions will all be posted with full details.  For event-specific volunteering opportunities, you'll be able to grab a (free) "ticket" for a volunteer role, get a confirmation by email, and track your participation right in your Members account. It's a small change that makes a big difference — it helps us staff events with confidence and makes every volunteer's contribution visible and appreciated.

 

Let's Talk: Groups 💬

We've also added Groups — think of it as our own little community forum, built right into the website. This is where the real coordination happens: planning who's bringing what to the next fundraiser, sorting out volunteer shifts, swapping tips, or just hyping each other up before a big concert. No more scattered group texts or "wait, who has the sign-up link?" — just hop into the Group and join the conversation.

 

Same Great Store 🍑

Don't worry, Peaches and the Gear Store aren't going anywhere. They'll be right where you expect them, just on the new site.

 

What stays the same?

CutTime remains how we'll send you announcements, reminders, and updates. Think of it this way: CutTime tells you something happened, and the website is where you go to get all the details. Short message, big payoff.

 

What do you need to do?

Nothing yet — just keep an eye on your inbox! Right after launch, you'll get an email invitation to set up your free Members account. It only takes a minute, and trust us, this change will be worth it.

 

We'll also have a few short how-to videos to walk you through everything once we're live, and we will have more information and support during our August 1st Parent Potluck!
